Draught stabiliser
It can be difficult to assess in advance what the draught of a given chimney will be. In windy weather the chimney draught will often increase, resulting in higher fuel consumption and/or operating disturbances.
A draught stabiliser is a balancing flap that opens at excess chimney draught, ensuring that the underpressure of the boiler remains stable. The draught stabiliser must be set at the draught level specified.
